What you Need
Each course, expedition or day trip has a specific gear list. Please review the gear list before your program and let us know if you have any questions. You can find all of our gear lists here:
Meeting time and location
These details will be sent to you in your confirmation email.
Lodging and accommodations
For all of our ski and winter programs, there are a variety of options in La Grande, and Union, Oregon. We recommend spending the night before your trip in La Grande or Union, as we will be meeting early on day 1, and winter travel can be difficult at times.
Dogs
As much as we love dogs, unfortunately, we cannot allow them at our overnight basecamp. We have a 8 mile snowmobile ride and melt snow for water. You may see our Golden Retrievers Luna and Sadie, but they have experience riding snowmobiles and are staff. Thanks for your understanding.
Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance, in case you are not able to make the trip, or we have to cancel due to inclement weather. For domestic trips check out Travelex and for international expeditions World Nomads. Please be sure to read our full cancellation policy.
