Selecting a guide service for a particular objective, course, or day out skiing is not always an easy task. Not all guide services, or mountain guides, are created equal. Why choose to hire a guide service when you could figure out the logistics on your own? At ECMG, we pride ourselves on putting the customer first and providing a top-notch experience from start to finish. Our guides have combined decades of experience, skiing, climbing, and working with guests in the mountains. Our guides have received training through professional organizations such as the American Mountain Guides Association, American Avalanche Institute, and NOLS/WMI. AIARE and others.
Guide Tipping: It is not a requirement to offer your guide a gratuity, but it is greatly appreciated. Tipping your guide should be similar to eating at a nice restaurant and depends on the level of service you feel you’ve received. We recommend tipping at 10-20% of the trip cost.
